Henge Estate’s sensitively restored Regency manor house and private, rural setting lends itself to being a historic or countryside location for photoshoots and filming.

Henge Estate is also near other popular filming locations like Laycock Abbey, Castle Coomb, the Salisbury military zones, Salisbury, the Salisbury Plain, Stonehenge and many other historical, archaeological sites.

Facilities for film and photography crew include:

  • 9-11 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom (sleeps up to 24)
  • Dining room can be set up for 5 to 24 people
  • Significant parking, both on hard standing and on grass
  • WiFi throughout the house
  • Projector and screen
  • 43” TV screens for projection with Cat 6 connections
  • Printer, scanner and paper
  • In-room spa treatments (subject to availability)
  • Private chef for some or all meals (subject to availability)

There are varied locations on the property including:

  • A terrace with stone Tuscan columns
  • A balcony with listed metal railings
  • Gardens and lawns
  • A “secret” walled garden
  • Woods walks
  • 9 ensuite bedrooms
  • Drawing room
  • Dining room
  • Sitting room
  • Library
  • Wine cellar in basement
  • Kitchen
  • Laundry
  • Stables
  • Garage
  • Old hen house
  • Kitchen garden and apple orchard
  • A one-bedroom annexe at the back of the house
  • Park-like fields at the front of the house

The large lawns, courts and woods allow for traditional games and activities on site including:

  • Walled garden
  • Woodland path
  • Above-ground swimming pool (April to September)
  • Tennis court with balls and racquets
  • Board and card games
  • Two large football goals and balls
  • Cricket set with balls and two bats
  • Croquet set with clubs (adults and children)
  • Outdoor Jenga
  • Mini golf
  • ¾ Snooker table (snooker and pool balls and cues)

We did a photoshoot for my homeware brand at Henge estate and it was the perfect back drop. Not only is the exterior of the house and walled garden beautiful but the interiors have been done exquisitely. Each room is a gem, there is no weak spot! I can’t recommend it more highly.
