Henge Estate lies on the edge of the Salisbury Plain, six minutes’ drive from Stonehenge and 23 minutes’ drive from Salisbury. It is a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from most of London, or reached by train to Andover or Salisbury. Equidistant to Bath (Somerset), Marlborough (Wiltshire), Winchester (Hampshire), Southampton (Hampshire) and Shaftesbury (Dorset), Henge Estate is well positioned for exploring the local Area & Attractions.
Henge Estate is family owned and operated. Built in 1830, the Manor House had barely changed until the current owners embarked on an extensive programme of restoration including introducing various elements to sympathetically bring the house into the 21st century with sustainability at its core. The family has a strong commitment to investing in the restoration and maintenance of the property, and to creating a carbon-neutral operation so that it can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Henge Estate provides complimentary honey for guests from its own orchard, as well as olive oil from the family’s olive grove in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy. The family’s estate in Tuscany also produces an excellent, organic, manually harvested, red wine in very small quantities for private use, called Bernabo after the family dog. It can be made available to guests at Henge Estate by prior arrangement.
