We use biodegradable or recycled plastic bags for rubbish collection, dog waste collection and for compost bins. Supermarkets also take all of our plastic bags and any plastic that you can put your finger through for recycling.

All household cleaning products are Ocean Saver water-soluble refill sachets used in recycled pump sprays. These are 100% plastic free, GreenClean Technology: Plant-based & non-toxic, 100% biodegradable, never tested on animals, vegan and all the bottles and triggers are manufactured in the UK.

Bed linen is sustainably sourced and manufactured at Rise & Fall. Aside from being better quality than any other high-end, boutique hotel sheets we tried, their partner factory runs entirely on wind power, the manufacturing partner recycles and reuses 99% of its water and they have plastic-free packaging, low impact dyes and chemicals.  100% of hot water, 100% of the electricity and 75% of the heating is supplied by a renewable energy provider using 100% renewable resources (wind, solar and hydro). Guests staying in summer will be using 100% renewable energy.
